Hot Chips 2020 Highlights

Day1¹

The first day of the Hot Chips 2020 conference had many highlights. We shortly discuss three: The IBM POWER10, the Marvell ThunderX3, and the keynote delivered by Intel.

Day2²

The second day of Hot Chips 2020, again,had many highlights. We discuss three. The second day keynote, Dan Belov from DeepMind gave a nice overview of AI Research. He says for AI we should abandon our complex reliable processors for smaller, less reliable but much cheaper ones.

Day3³

This is our third and final video-report on the Hot Chips 2020 conference. It covers:

• Baidu Kunlun processor;

• Alibaba Huanguang 800 NPU chip;

• Lightmatter Mars Photonic device;
• Closing remarks about the conference, its studio and record attendance.
